Merlin Olsen (Mr. Garvey), actor and formerly football player (1962-1976)
Merlin Olsen died. I was so sad when I read little house forum. He was funny actor.
September 15, 1940 to March 11, 2010. He had cancer. Died at age 69. That is really young to die. I will always remember him.
I always remember little house cast members, who died many years ago including Ingalls family. The Ingalls family and Garvey familys are my favorite families.
He will have a little party with Mike Landon and Victor French in the heaven. And others little house cast members.
RIP Merlin Olsen.

Charles born on Jan 10, 1836. He is 174.
Mary born on Jan 10, 1865 in Pepin Wisconsin. She is 145.

Laura and her family move a lot.
Pepin Wisconsin then Rutland County, Kansas (where Carrie born) then Missouri then Pepin Wisconsin then Walnut Grove, Minnesota then Burr Oaks, Iowa (where Grace born) then Walnut Grove, Minnesota then De Smet, South Dakota.
Laura and Almanzo live in De Smet, South Dakota then Westville, Florida then Minnesota (live near Almanzo's parents house) then Mansfield, Missouri.
Pa, Ma, Mary, Carrie, and Grace died in De Smet. Laura and Almanzo died in Mansfield.
Little Freddie (died at age 9 month old) died in Redwood, Minnesota.
I have no idea where they get Jack the brindle bulldog. Jack died in 1879. He might born between 1864 to 1867.
In books, they said Jack is old. I guess he died at age 13 in 1879. Laura should write down year Jack born.
Do you think Laura write books about everyday? No....She did not write about how they go to bathroom, brush their teeth, what they eat, and other. She just write what happen and holidays and school and something important and interesting for people read about their pioneer years.
Laura's height is 4'11 and Almanzo is 5'4. I not know how about their family's height but Carrie and Grace are taller than Laura. I not know if Mary is taller than Laura.

Fan Fiction

Chapter 1: New student.

At school. Laura sits down on seat and smile. “Good morning, class. We will have new student today. Her name is Viviane Cortland. She is from Portland, Maine.” Miss Beadle said.
“Hello ma’am. My name is Viviane. I am eleven. Everyone call me Vi.” Viviane said as she walks in. All kids greeting her. At recess time. Vi walked to Laura and Mary. “What is your name?” Vi said.
“My name is Laura Ingalls. That is my sister, Mary.” Laura said. Vi looks at Laura. Vi starts mischievously smile at Laura. Laura’s eyes got wide. “Are you will beat me up?” Laura in shaky voice. “No! I wouldn’t beat up! How old are you both?” Vi said.
“I am eleven. She is thirteen. We have baby sister, Carrie. She is five.” Laura said. School bell rang. Everyone chattering as they enter school. Then school is dismissed.
“Um, do you want come to my house and meet my family?” Vi said in sweet voice. They look at her and go to the house. “That is my new friends. Their names are Mary and Laura Ingalls. They live up to road and near Plum Creek.” Vi said.
“Hello. Wait, Charles is your pa?” Thomas Cortland (Vi’s papa) said. “Yes, that right! How you know?” Mary said. He smiles. “I had new job that where your pa work.” Thomas said.
“Where is your ma?” Laura said. Vi looks at them and sighs. “Mama died when I was born.” Vi said. “We feel sorry about that.” They said.
“We best go to home before ma worried.” Laura said as they go to door. “Wow, she is sweetest person ever! I like her. Do you?” Laura said. “Yeah. I like her too!” Mary said.

Chapter 2: Typhoid Fever.

Few weeks later. Girls woke up. They groan. Ma heard groan. She went to loft and saw girls groaning.
“Are you alright?” Ma said as she rubs Laura’s hand. “No. We feel sick.” Laura said as she coughing. Carrie begins crying. “Mama!” Carrie cried.
Pa saw Carrie crying and girls groaning. Ma looks at pa. “I think girls got sick.” Ma said. So, pa get doc Baker. Doc Baker looks at girls.
Doc Baker said, all kids in Walnut Grove got Typhoid Fever including your daughters. They best go to Hanson’s house.
Carrie start crying and screaming. The girls saw Vi too. Vi looks really sick. “Ma? Will we die?” Laura said. Ma looks at her and shook her head.
Doc Baker sends Charles and Thomas to get medicine in Sleepy Eye. “Mary? Are you awake?” Laura said as she taps Mary’s shoulder.
“Yes, I am.” Mary said and she turns facing to Laura. “Do you think pa and Mr. Cortland will be ok?” Laura said. “Yes but why you said that?” Mary said. Laura look and shrugging.
Then they fell asleep. Pa and Mr. Cortland return and gave to Doc Baker. “Five kids died.” Doc Baker. That mean forty-five kids are still sick.
Two days later. All kids got better. Laura sits up and smiles at her sisters. All people are very exhausted but very happy that their kids are not sick. They went to home.

Chapter 3: Thanksgiving Dinner

On November 19. Miss Beadle writes “Happy Thanksgiving” on blackboard. “Class, I hope you have nice two weeks break. See you on December 2.” Miss Beadle said. Kids cheering and clapping their hands.
Class is dismissed. Mary and Laura run to home. Ma told them goes to pick berries from bushes. They took Carrie with them.
“Look at strawberries and blueberries!” Carrie cried as they walk to berry field. They start picking berries and put in two big basket. Carrie saw a little bird laying down.
Carrie picks bird. “Look at the bird. He have broken wing. Can we care him?” Carrie said. They look at Carrie and nod their heads. “When his wing healed and will you let him go?” Mary said. Carrie smiles and nods her head.
Half an hour later. They are done picking berries and walk to home. “Mama! I found a bird with broken wing. Mary and Laura said we can take care of him and when he healed wing and we let him go.” Carrie said.
Pa saw and put little gauze bandages wrap on bird’s wing. “I will call him Birdie.” Carrie squealing. “What kind is birdie?” she added.
“That is Robin Bird” Laura said. They get little box and put hay and twigs in box. It looks like nest. They put box near Carrie’s bed. Carrie put Birdie in nest. “Can I find wormies?” Carrie said.
Pa and Carrie went to outside near Plum Creek and find worms. Mary and Laura put berries in bowl and mashed them. They are making strawberry preserves and blueberry preserves.
Ma let them churn butter. Laura doing little bit then Mary then Laura then Mary then done with it. Carrie put a lot of worms in jar and put one worm in nest so Birdie eat it.
On Nov 25. Day before Thanksgiving. They are very busy all day. Ma put fat, juicy turkey and plump deer in separated pots. Mary peeling and cutting potatoes and put them in small pot and frying. Laura chopping green beans and let Carrie eat one piece of green bean.
Pa going to garden and get a pumpkin. Carrie sits down on chair and watch Mary and Laura help ma. Ma and Laura baking pumpkin pie. Mary and Carrie make cornbread and stuffing.
They are done cooking. They went to outside and filling water in tub. Carrie took bath then Laura took bath then Mary took bath then 3 girls put other dresses and brush their hair.
“That smells so good!” Laura said. They wash on table with wet rag. Carrie sweeps on floor. “That looks very nice. Good job, girls. I am proud of you doing all day! I have three pennies for you girls and buy one piece candies each,” Pa said and smiled at girls.
“Let’s go to see Olesons and say Happy Thanksgiving!” Laura said. They walk in store. “Good afternoon! We say Happy Thanksgiving to Mr. and Mrs. Oleson. They smile and say you too! They get three gumdrops. They eat it then walk to home.
At night, the girls went to loft and change their clothes and pray then go to sleep. Next day, everyone woke up. They eat pancakes for breakfast.
“You girls, must be quiet and play nicely or read a book. We will have bible verses later.” Ma said. “I rather sew nine patch pillow now.” Mary said as she went to loft to get their trunk and grab some fabrics.
“I will sew with you.” Laura said. Carrie plays with her doll, Debbie. Laura sew blue and purple patch pillow. Mary sew red and brown patch pillow. “Here, it is for you” Laura said as she hold pillow.
Mary looks at her. “Really? I make pillow for you too. Thanks!” Mary said. They smile and clean up. “Hey! Can we make two pillows for Carrie and her doll!” Laura said.
They sew a little pink and white patch pillow for Carrie. They sew little blue and red patch pillow for Carrie’s doll. Then they gave both to Carrie. Carrie smile and squealing.
After lunch. Ma and Girls sit down and study bible verses. Carrie takes a nap. Pa is outside and fix wagon wheels. They studies and talk about it. “John 1:11” Laura said.
At suppertime, they pray. Each person to say why thankful. “I thankful for have wonderful family. I thankful for work hard at school and chores. Amen.” Laura said. “I thankful for work hard and helping my family and two sisters. Amen.” Mary said.
“I thankful for help ma and pa and sisters. I learn new things from sisters. Amen.” Carrie said. Pa and Ma smile. They eat. They eat pie then full. “That was best dinner ever!” Laura said as she put her fork on plate.
Mary and Laura doing wash dishes. Laura dries them and put it on table. Pa gets dishes and cups in cupboard. Carrie went to bed and change to nightgown and look at Birdie. Birdie is been good bird.
Next day. Carrie woke up and screaming. “Mama! He is dead.” Carrie scream. Mary and Laura heard and calm Carrie. Carrie start crying and screaming. Laura has idea. “Let get new bird for Carrie.” Laura said. They walk outside and find new bird. They found one that Mrs. Smith keeps. She let them have because she understands that Carrie was upset that Birdie died.
They gave a new bird to Carrie. Carrie stop cry and look at the bird. “New bird from Mrs. Smith.” Mary said. Carrie gently holds him and grin big. “I will name him, Birdy.” Carrie said.
They smile and Carrie feed worm to her new bird. On Dec 2, they return to school. “How was your vacation?” Christy said. Christy is their best friend. They met her year ago when they join school.
“Yes, we have good time. Carrie got bird with broken wing. His name is Birdie then two days later, he died. Carrie got upset so, we find new one. Carrie got happy and call him, Birdy.” Laura said. Christy smiles and class bell rang. All kids sit on benches.

Chapter 4: Christmas

On Dec 17, kids have winter break for 3 weeks. They run to home. “Can we play outside?” Laura said. Ma nods her head and put coat and scarf and mittens on Carrie. Girls play outside.
They make snowman. Then suppertime, they eat stew and rolls and pie. On Dec 23. Pa went to hunt in Breechwood Forest. Ma and Girls went to shopping.
They buy then go to home. Pa bought one fat turkey, one plump rabbit, and fat hog. Pa skinned and scrapes meats from hog. Carrie stares at fat hog with her big blue eyes.
“Papa? How you know which meat are they?” Carrie asks. Pa shows her several meats. Girls sit on their bed. They are knitting two warm pink stockings for Carrie. Mary decide make new shawl for Laura. She picks dark red fleece fabric and cut it to right size for Laura.
Laura decides go to store and buy World History Book for Mary. A book cost five cent. On Dec 24. They are very busy again.
Pa put a lot of meats on table. Ma put fresh rabbit meat in frying and she put salt pork and lard on it and rubbing the meat. Mary and Laura make bread. They let Carrie snap the green beans and put it in bowl.
They teach Carrie to make cookies. Pa gets some small logs from outside and put it in fireplace.
Ma gets pork, bacon, and some meat from hog and wraps it with cloth so they save it for later. Mary wash yams and Laura cut them.
They put cookies in jar and wash all dishes and drying them and put away. Carrie pushes all chairs in.
They ate cornmeal and molasses and apple pie for dinner. Then girls put Carrie in bed and tell her a story. Halfway later, Carrie fell asleep.
Girls went to loft and change clothes and prays. Then they went to sleep. Next day, they woke up and put their Sunday dress (Church dress) and put pretty ribbons on their hair.
They ate egg, bacon, and biscuits. Then they open presents. They like it. Then suppertime, they eat delicious food. They feel stuffed. They wash dishes and drying.

CHRISTMAS ON THE PLUM CREEK. It is so sweet episode! Summary.

Ingalls have first christmas in Walnut Grove! They are very excited. Pa, Ma, Mary, Laura, and Carrie have their own coins. Carrie ask pa what is Christmas? They not have enough money for buy presents. So Laura decide doing knit scarf for pa. Mary sew a shirt for pa and she work with Miss Whipple, who work for sew clothes. Ma decide sew a shirt for pa.
Mary come home and ask parents if she can help Miss Whipple. Big goofs--She said "I can sew her that I show, I mean I can sew that I show her", she suppose not said that. I thought it was cute.
Laura and Carrie went to store. Carrie had a penny. She want a star. Star is cost five cent but Mr. Oleson decide give her and get a penny from Carrie. (That is so sweet of him) So, Pa make a saddle for Laura. So she can use it for her lovely horse, Bunny. Laura decide trade Bunny for get new stove for ma. That is nice of Laura.
On Chrismas day, they woke up and open presents. Pa open presents. Ma hide the present because Ma and Mary sew same shirt for pa. Pa gave saddle for Laura. Mary got new furcape. Carrie got new carved necklace. Ma got new stove from Laura! Carrie said Open mine papa, so pa and Carrie open a gift. She said It for baby Jesus (that is really adorable)
So, Pa look at her and lift her to tree. Carrie put star on it. She said Happy Birthday, baby Jesus.

CHRISTMAS THEY NEVER FORGET! Summary.

On Christmas Eve, Ingalls and Wilder in the Little House. Pa saw a wagon. Mary and Adam come from New York for surprise. Carrie sit on ladder and stare at star. That star is different from other one. Pa, Ma, Mary, Laura, Carrie, Grace, Albert, James, Cassandra, Adam, Almanzo, and Hester Sue share dinner.
Snow is really bad and wind blow harder. Before, Kendall going home but they had to stay here. Pa said Hester Sue, Albert, James, Carrie, and Cassandra sleep in Loft so Laura and Mary share big bed.(Pa and Ma's)Almanzo tell story about his Christmas. Hester Sue and Ma tell too. Laura told them about Kansas (from Pilot Movie). Next day, Carrie woke up and tell pa that Christmas is here.
Nothing much about presents :( but I really like see Ingalls family together.

Wow, this week was very busy....Next week is Thanksgiving Break.

My story about Little House.

In 2000, I was 8 years old. I never knew Little House. Everytime, I look at books on shelves, I can see that book and never read it. It's belong to my 2nd cousin's book (Still have it now). I decide read that book (Little House on the Prairie) and I read first 4 or 5 chapters then stopped. A year later in 2001, at age 9, I read it. (It had bookmark)
I thought it was Fiction story. So I read other books. It's non-fiction story. I never knew that Laura will be my favorite author. So I like it. Few years later in May 2005, I saw on TV guide....It say Little House on the Prairie. I decide watch it.....It's started at 4pm-5pm but I start watch at about 415pm.
My first time saw episode is The Richest Man in Walnut Grove (season 2, episode 1). Scene- Mary and Laura in the bed. I not know which is Mary or Laura...So I not know which one is actor or actress.
I watch it but I not really like it. My expression was not enjoy...Just like boring face. I stopped watch it then in Fall 2005. I start watch it again. I start like it little bit by each days. I never knew that Lindsay Sidney Greenbush are twins. I thought Lindsay's middle name is Sidney. Then in 2006, I start like it more and more then really love it in late summer or early fall 2006.
I saw many websites about Little House. I found out that Lindsay and Sidney are twins in 2007. I really enjoy watch all seasons! I went to Minnesota last Summer, July 2008, you know that anyway.
I should watch that show before 2005 but....I was only 12 and half years old when I saw that show very first time. Now I hardly watch them because I had so busy often with school. But I had DVDs, I watch them on weekends and weekdays night. Sometime I feel neglect watch Little House but still love that show. Thank you to Laura Ingalls Wilder for write books, you are my favorite author. Thank you to Michael Landon for film little house, you are amazing actor and I wish I could meet both of you.

season 1- FIRST episode- Harvest of Friend (Sept 11, 1974), I like this episode! It is really cute episode.

Look at adorable girls- Laura, Mary, and little Carrie from Harvest of Friend. I did not watch them first time until later, I saw first time is Season 2, episode 1 in May 2005. I will explain you about My first time watch Little House ok? Maybe later.

Hello. Now, Two girls are my favorite characters now. Mary and Laura Ingalls. I still like Carrie and Grace. Here is many pictures of Mary and Laura. I pick my favorite pictures of them.
Mary and Laura are two years apart, just like in books. I will tell you each pictures that what they doing? And episodes too! In season 2, most time they have crazy adventures. They got trouble in end of episode.

The girls saw Mr. O'hara is hurt by shot from outside. Season 1- Circus Man

They are laugh because Mr. Edwards fell asleep and Carrie said Read!. Season 1- Ma's Holiday.

They dance while Pa play fiddle and Mr. Whipple play banjo. Season 2- Solider's Return. That scene when they dance, they doing very good.

After they dive in the lake to save the puppies. Mary took all 3 puppies out of the bag and feel the rock. "Laura! Silly Old Rock!" Mary said then they hugging. That is my favorite scene when they save puppies. They are really cute when hugging.

They saw that man threw bag (inside are puppies and rock) into lake, They are telling him. He said Go away or I will stick ya. Then they look at him then run and hide. Season 2- Remember me part 1.

They are in the wagon. Ma told them please hug and keep warm. They hugging. That was sweet scene. Season 1, Survival.

They watch Mr. O'hara put magic powder as they watch it disappear and reappearing. Their face are priceless. Look at their eyes. Mary's blue eyes are beautiful pale blue eyes. Laura's brown eyes are cute too. Season 1- Circus man.

In Laura's dream that they are rich. They are pretty in white dresses. Season 2- At end of rainbow.

I wrote on journal about my trip to Minnesota. Now I going show you, all pictures in Minnesota. I love Walnut Grove. I want to come back to Walnut Grove again. I don't want put all pictures, I just pick my favorite pictures.
I will type about Twins' questions and answer soon. It is in video and too long. I will try put video for blog. It is like 35 min or so in video. I will write Questions and Answers. I not remember all answers that they said but I can remember one, that they said when their mother give a birth. When doctor got Lindsay then the doctor said Oh there is one more baby then doctor got Sidney.
I will type them tonight and put it on blog tomorrow!

What a beautiful prairie! That where Ingalls lived..You can't walk further. I like this picture.

I waded in Plum Creek that where Laura and Mary swim. I surprise that Creek is not cold. It is warm. I bet when I waded and maybe where Laura stepped in dirt and waded and maybe same spot that I stepped in dirt and waded.

I went to museum and I am fall in love with museum. I love that museum so much! I could look around in the museum for long time. Inside of Ingallses' house. That was cute house.

I hold a autograph picture of twins. That dress, my granny sew dress, pinafore,and pantaloon for me. I choose the calico. I like flower calico, it is blue, red, and green flowers. I still have that dress now!

I met Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush. I am in pioneer dress with bonnet. Lindsay is in blue shirt and Sidney is in pink shirt. They are baby Carrie. They are very nice. I got two autographs. One is Twins in regular clothes and other is Twins in episode- Godsister. Lindsay is Carrie and Sidney is Alyssa. There is also other picture that I not pick, it was twins with Bandit.

Walnut Grove Tribune. I thought it was fake but it is REAL, old building in 1880s. I can see through window. There is empty, I can't remember. The building is really old and very nice.

I buy new bonnet and candy cane (each piece cost 25 cent). That tree is real. That Laura curved on it, It said LI + AW, mean Laura Ingalls and Almanzo Wilder. How romantic! Haha.

The Ingalls' dugout. That is not from 1800s, People built that and show people what dugout look like when Ingalls lived in. I went inside and it is small and nice.

That wagon, I thought it was neat. I feel like I am Laura when I stand in the wagon.

Carrie's birthday today.
I will tell you about her birth in Kansas, I read a book, name is Little House in Big Woods.

One hot afternoon, Aug 3rd, 1870. Mary and Laura wants go to Old Indian Camp so Pa take them with Jack the bulldog. Ma stay at home with Mrs. Scotts. Mary and Laura found beads. They went to home. They saw a baby in blanket. Baby had black hair and black eyes. Her skin are so red, almost same as Sumac Leaves. They tought she was a Indian baby but she is their baby sister. Ma and Pa pick name for baby. Caroline Celestia Ingalls. Mary and Laura take turns to hold Carrie.
Few weeks after Carrie's birth. They decide call her, Baby Carrie. They still call her, Baby Carrie until she is four or five. They just call her, Carrie. Because she is not baby anymore.
139 years ago, Carrie born in little log house. 1946, Carrie died.

Ma's Holiday

Hello. Here is episodes review. Season 1, episode 8- Ma's Holiday. This episode is my 2nd favorite for season 1.
Aired- Nov 6, 1974. That mean filmed in end of July or early August 1974. Melissa Gilbert, Melissa Sue Anderson, Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush told interview, Ma's Holiday is their favorite episode. Lindsay had a early memory. She sat on roof.
Here pictures- all are order but I pick favorite pictures.

Episode review. A lot scenes of Mr. Edwardsa and Girls. Some of Pa and Ma.

Pa and girls smiling at ma and they know what is it, Ma did not know about it. So pa told her that "We are going to Mankato for 6 days. Mrs. Grace Sniders will take care of Mary, Laura, and little Carrie. Pa went to Sniders' house and she got sore throat. Pa went back to home. Girls look sad but they heard Mr. Edwards sing. They ran to him and ask him for take care of girls. Girls became happy that he can babysitter them.

Pa and ma left. Girls eat supper with him. Look at Laura (picture- two of them). See she get green bean but she accident put it in milk then eat it. Mr. Edwards said that he was Sitting Bull. Carrie became little bad girl. She refused to eat and Laura gave her a spoon of food. Carrie put it on Mr. Edwards' nose. Mary say Carrie! Be good girl. Carrie said, Good girl. So cute!

They saw Mr. Edwards put Carrie's plate on floor and Jack ate chicken! They wash it then put Carrie in the bed. Mr. Edwards told them go to bed. Girls want a story but he said No. Laura ask him for pray. They pray and Mr. Edwards look at them. Then he give a kiss to Laura and Mary.

Mr. Edwards heard Carrie crying. She want to eat. So he put hot food on plate and saw her high chair. Carrie went to bed. Then He put plate on floor and Jack eat it again. Next day, Mary and Laura are hurry go to school because Mr. Edwards not wake them early and they will be late for school Carrie will be stay home with Mr. Edwards.

Carrie is little troublemaker. They doing laudry. Carrie watch him to wash sheets and she run to log near creek. Carrie pulled a clean sheet and fell on her. He sigh then tied her with string to pole. They went to hills. Jack barking at rattlesnake. They got it. He shoot the rattlesnake. He make it in pot (ACTUALLY chicken but it is pretend to be rattlesnake meat) and Carrie play with Rattlesnake's rattle tail.

Pa and Ma went to out for dinner. They eat fancy food.

Mary and Laura done their homework and smelling from it. They wonder why it's smell awful. They look at pot and they sniff. They watching Mary eat meat. She bite one piece of meat and coughing. Laura look at her and bite the meat too. Carrie eat it and meat stick out of her mouth and she seem like it. Then Laura tried give meat to Jack but Jack not want eat it.

They watch him put Carrie in bed but she giggle and shaking. Mary told him, Pa tell her story when she is restless. Laura took a book. Story name is Goldlocks and Three bears. Mr. Edwards talk about them but Carrie not like make up words. Laura read it to them. Then Mr. Edwards fell asleep.

Mary and Laura in bed. Mary could not sleep because of lighting. She ask Laura if she wake up. Laura woke up and they forget to collect eggs or chickens will make eggs go bad. They went to downstairs. Mary put matches in the lanters then they went to outside and pick the eggs.

Mr. Edwards heard chickens clucking and squawks. He took a gun and they open door. He shot it up to the roof. Girls came in and Mr. Edwards told them why do that? You better know that wolves is outside. They look at him and think it was funny and Mary ask him, Wolves in rain? They went to bed.

Pa and Ma went to the play, the play make ma upset then they went to store. She want a new bonnet but lady said That woman lost kids and they still find it but they not know that their kids been dead for years and years.

Mr. Edwards look for Carrie. Carrie hid in the bed. She play Pee-A-Boo. The girls walk from school and they saw Carrie sitting on the roof. Lindsay said it was her early memories and they put belts on her and sit on roof and she will not fell off the roof. Anyway Girls ran to house and told him that Carrie will fall off! Mr. Edwards nailed her dress to roof. They look at each another. Carrie is not scared and she was smile.

They went inside and roof is perfect. They went to school. Then Carrie is play horsey with him. Girls saw them and decide go to sit on his back. Mr. edwards' back start hurt. They help him go to the chair. Mary said, Not worry, I will take of Carrie and Laura doing her chores. Laura said Why I have to do chores? Mary told her becaue you are youngest. Laura told her that Carrie is youngest then Mary told her, No that sound sillier. Then Carrie make mess. She play with pots and pans. She put pot on her head and it is like hat. Laura said, I thought you will take care of her. Mary told her, I know but if not arguing!

They clean house. Laura went to store and give eggs but she saw Pa and Ma in wagon and she told Mr. Oleson to tell them stay for little while. So Laura hurries sweep, Mary hurries to get laudry. Laura took Carrie to her bed and change dress. Mary make bed then they are finish. Ma and Pa came home. Girls said Pa! Ma! They are happy that they are here. They hug and pa bring presents for girls! Mr. Edwards went to home.

The End. I will watch that episode this afternoon!

This story is from Season 2.

One morning, Laura wake up and she put her dress on and braid her long hair. Her sisters are already waking up. Mary took basket to chicken coop to collects eggs. “Hi Mary”, Laura says as Mary come in the house. “Hi, Good morning” Mary say. They sit down and eat breakfast. Pa left to mills. They go to school.
On way to school, Laura dragging her shoes. She stops and looks down at her shoes. “What are you doing? We will be late for school.” Mary says. “Button fall out of my shoe and it bother me” Laura say. Mary grabs Laura’s hand as the school bell rang. They ran to school.
School is dismissed. They decide play on see-saw. “Do you want know a secret?” Laura giggles. “Sure.” Mary grins. “I put a dead worm in Nellie’s lunch pail and I bet she will scream!” Laura whisper. They laugh. They walk to home. “Hi Mary! Hi Laura!” Carrie shouts as she run outside.
“Hello pa” Girls said. “Hello Darling”, Pa grins. “I have a wonderful news for you girls!” Ma said. “What is it?” Girls said. Pa knows what it is too! “We going take you to stay with your uncle and aunt for two weeks” Ma said. “And Ella, Peter, and Alice?” Laura smiles. “No not that one, You going to see Uncle Hi and Aunt Docia” Pa say. “And going tomorrow on train and you better packing now, Carrie done hers before” Ma say. Mary and Laura ran up the loft and they chattering as they packing. “I can’t wait to see Lena and Jean” Mary smiles. “Me too!” Laura grins. “Bring Sunday dresses” Carrie shouts from downstairs. They put clean, fresh ironed Sunday dresses on bed and make sure it is smoother not wrinkles. They put it in their bag.
Next day. They put their bonnet on. Mary holds Carrie’s hand gentle. Carrie is so nervous go on train for first time. “Is train fun?” Carrie in timidly voice? They nod their head. Pa took them on wagon and goes to Sleepy Eye and takes off to train. Pa waves them. “I wonder what Lena and Jean look like now?” Laura says. Three and half later, they got off train. “Hello there my little ones” uncle Hi laugh! They saw him and hugging him. “Oh wow, You are so big! Oh Carrie! You is not baby, Now four or five? Uncle Hi said. “I am five” Carrie giggles. They got on wagon. “Ma and Pa say Hello to you” Mary said in politely. Laura look at long prairie grass that along wagon. Carrie cling her doll in arms and look at them.
“Hi Laura! Hi Mary! Hi Carrie!” Docia, Lena, and Jean as they came out door. They hug them. “It is my dolly, her name is Debbie” Carrie say. Docia chuckles. They walk in the big house and Lena help take bags and show them a room where they sleep. They grin at Lena. Lena is Eleven, just like Laura’s age. Jean is eight. They talk with Uncle Hi and Aunt Docia about Walnut Grove in kitchen. Docia is making supper. Hi put logs in fireplace. Jean help with Carrie put their clothes in little drawers. Mary, Laura, and Lena talk. “I don’t like that Bragging Spoiled Nellie” Laura said. “Laura! We are going to school with her. I bet there is no bossy girl like Nellie or does have?” Mary hesitant.
“No. But one girl is bully, her name is Polly Bolin” Lena said. “Oh what she doing when she is bully” Laura said. “She hit balls to other kids and she not like new kids come to school, if they does, she will hit them hard” Lena said. “We…We are going to school and will she do that?” Mary said as Laura gulps hard. “um. Maybe but I will tell her that you and Laura are my cousins and she maybe not hit you.” Lena said. Docia called Kids, for supper. They eat stew, green beans, and potatoes. Pies for dessert. “Tomorrow you girls going to school” Uncle Hi said. “Me?” Carrie said. “No, you not going” Laura said, “We are going with Lena and Jean.”
Next day. Laura and Mary wake up and put their dresses and fix their hair. “Breakfast is ready now” Lena said. They eat breakfast. “I will be so nervous when meet that Polly” Laura said. “Aw, Not worry” Uncle Hi said. “What I doing?” Carrie said. “Oh, They going school, Hi going to work, so we can go to pick berries” Aunt Docia grins. Carrie grins back. They walk to school. Laura stands stiff. Mary took Laura’s hand and they walk. Lena lends them to inside school. Teacher saw them. “Oh well, you look so generous” Teacher smile. “They are my cousins, Mary and Laura Ingalls, they are from Walnut Grove. They arrived yesterday, they stay for 2 weeks. They also have little sister Carrie, she is here but she is only five and stay with my ma” Lena said. “That is beautiful name, How old are you?” Teacher said. “I am thirteen and she is eleven” Mary said. “Oh. My name is Mrs. Bells, Hope you have good weeks with your cousins!” Mrs. Bells said. They thanked her and sit on desk. Lena will sit behind them. She sits with Jean. “Oh Country Girls! Why you not wearing your dumb hay hat” Polly said. “WE ARE NOT! WE are from Walnut Grove! You better shut your mouth, WE are Lena and Jean’s cousins” Laura shouts. Laura back to her seat. “Why would you shout to her, like you did to Nellie!” Mary said. They sit and listen to Mrs. Bells. She said Come, Stand here and tell them who are you? They stand up. “My name is Laura Ingalls, I am from Walnut Grove” Laura said. “My name is Mary Ingalls, I am also from Walnut Grove and We are Lena and Jean’s cousins. We also have little sister, Carrie, she is here but stay at aunt Docia. We stay for two weeks, start yesterday” Mary said. Kids look at them and clapped. Lena smile at them. They went back to their seat. They learn about Jerusalem. At lunchtime. All kids sit with them. A nice girl name is Belinda Huron gave two piece of fried apples to them and they ate it. “I would like that if you like come to see my house, it is not far, just near to Lena and jean house” Belinda said. “Oh that is nice of you, maybe tomorrow because we want go home and see how Carrie doing with Aunt Docia.” Mary said in politely. Belinda is twelve years old, she have long red hair in braids and big green eyes. Bell rang, kids walk with them to school.
They run to home and they do their chores. “How is school?” Uncle Hi asked to Mary and Laura. “We have a good day with all kids sit together at lunch and ask us about Walnut Grove.” Mary grins. “And a girl name is Belinda, she is so nice to ask us to come visit sometime and we can see her tomorrow at her house, I yell at Polly because she mean to us” Laura hesitant. Uncle Hi give a big smile to them. They went inside and saw Carrie was baking pie with Docia. Her face and hands are covered with berries. She ate half of berries. Mary helps Docia to take pies in oven. Laura wipes Carrie’s face and hands. Lena set up table. Jean plays with train. Laura looks at books. Mary and Carrie help Docia make supper. “Supper time” Carrie called to them.

They eat supper and talk. “That is very good gooseberry pie, Ma usually baking strawberry pie, apple pie, raspberry pie, and pumpkin pie” Laura said. “Why thank you, Laura!” Aunt Docia said. Laura wash dishes with Lena. Jean helps them to put away dishes and cups. Carrie help Mary do laundry outside. “I miss pa and ma” Carrie said, she began to tears. “Aw Carrie! I know, We do miss them. Not worry, it is going fast. Pretend that Aunt Docia and Uncle Hi are our ma and pa. Okay?” Mary said as she put Laura’s pantaloon in basket.
They went inside. Laura walks with Carrie to bedroom and helps her put night gown and Carrie go in the bed. Jean going to sleep too. Lena shows them a pretty teacup and saucer, that was her ma’s grandma’s ma’s teacup and saucer. It is from Ireland. Her great grandma name is Eliza. They took a turn to look at teacup and saucer.
“I want Pa! I want Ma!” Carrie began cry. Mary and Laura come in room and saw Carrie crying. “I want Pa and Ma” Carrie scream. They told her to calm down. Uncle Hi, Aunt Docia, Lena, and Jean came in room. They decide take kids to town tomorrow before school and they can call on telephone. But They don’t have any so they call in Post Office.

Next day. They walk with Uncle Hi to Town. The manager calls Walnut Grove Post Office. They had wait for a while. They heard ma and pa. “Pa! Ma! It is Laura, Mary, and Carrie!, Carrie cried yesterday and now she is fine. We miss you!” Laura said. “Oh! Aw, That is good hearing! We do miss you my darling girls” Pa said. They talk for a little bit. School just starts five min ago. They walk to school. Jean left before too, he also explains Mrs. Bells about late. “Belinda is not here” Laura said. After school. Jean walks with his friends, James and Louis to Louis’s house. Lena, Mary, and Laura walk to Belinda’s house. They knock a door.

Mrs. Huron opens the door. “We are Mary and Laura Ingalls. Lena and Jean’s cousins.” Mary said. “Oh yes, Belinda told me about you girls. Welcome” Mrs. Huron grins. “Why Belinda not come to school today?” Laura asked. “Oh, she got really bad fever and not feel good” Mrs. Huron said. “Oh no! Can we see her?” Laura said. “Yes but you girls had to stand by door and can see her so you not get sick from her.” Mrs. Huron.
They walk to Belinda’s room. “Hello, We are here, We hope you feel better soon” Laura said. “Tha ..Coughing.. Thank you for telling me” Belinda smiles. They stay for a min then left. They walk to home. They doing their homework and chores. They eat supper then went to bed. They are so tired. Next day, Saturday morning. Everyone wake up and eat breakfast then went to town. “Look! A cow in livery!” Carrie squeals. “Moo” Laura and Mary said to Carrie. They buy 1 pound of cheese, three pound of nails, 5 pieces of candies, and 1 big bag of kernels. They came home and play outside. They eat little candies. “Want play hide and seek?” Jean shouts. Everyone running in nowhere. Laura counts to fifty. Carrie is hide behind the chicken coop, Jean is hide in barn. Mary is behind the big tree that beside the garden. Lena is hide in cellar. “Here am I come or not!” Laura shouts. She heard a giggle. “Carrie! I found you!” Laura giggles. They look for other. They found Jean in the barn. They found Mary then Lena. They decide go in the cellar and look at anything. They open a little tin box. It was Lena’s old toy box. They thought it is good idea to give Carrie. So they clean up the toy box and take it to outside. Uncle Hi carries pails and sponges to them to wash toy box. Carrie’s blue eyes got wider and wider as they wash the toy box.
They put the toy box in their bedroom. Carrie put little blankets and pillow in the box and put doll in and tucking Debbie. “Good night Debbie, You better go sleep. Mama going to eat supper now” Carrie said. They giggle with Carrie. They eat supper. Sunday morning. Mary, Laura, and Carrie put their Sunday best. They help button Carrie’s dresses and shoes. Mary brush Carrie’s hair and Laura put her blue ribbon on her side of head. They brush their hair too. They put ribbons on their heads. They walked out of room. Lena wears her best, it was bright red dress with little white flowers on it and white ribbons on her braids. Jean wears his best suit and hat. They walk to church. Rev Baldwin was quite friendly with Ingalls girls. They sit on long benches.
Mrs. Huron ran inside and she cried. “Belinda is dying! Belinda is dying! Can we have the funeral now?” she cried and sniffles. They look each another. Mr. Mutton and Uncle Hi and some men went to her house and put Belinda in wooden box and put a lot of flowers inside with her. They carry it to church. Everyone stand up and went to outside and look at them. “Yesterday, Belinda Marie Huron born in Chicago. They moved to here, Redwood, Minnesota. She raised here for 11 years. Today, Belinda going to heaven and we must pray to god to keep her safe and warm. Amen” Rev Baldwin said. Everyone look sad and solemn. Laura start cry and Mary rubbing Laura’s shoulder. Lena hold Carrie’s hand and Carrie’s eyes watery and biting her lips. They sing Belinda’s favorite song. They went to home. Laura and Lena decide give little cake to Mrs. Huron. So they walk to her house. Aunt Docia baked fresh cookies for Girls’ trip, they going home in 10 days. So she makes a lot of cookies and saves for them. Girls come back and told her that she like that cake. “Debbie is gone!” Carrie start crying and screaming. Laura and Mary ran in room and saw Carrie crying near toy box. They ask her to stop crying. “That is why Polly did not coming to church and maybe sneak up here and steal Debbie.” Laura said. “Look at window! It is broken! She might break the window and steal Debbie. And better tell Uncle Hi now.” Mary said.
They went to Polly’s house. Her ma open door and she using cane. “Are you blind?” Laura asked. Her ma paused for a sec. “I am blind! Who are you?” she said. “We are Ingalls girls, that Lena and Jean’s cousins. From Walnut Grove” Laura said. Her ma called Polly to come. “Why you are here?” Polly said. “Did you steal her doll?” Laura said. “No, and I am sorry I yells you other day but I thought you seem sweet but you are!” Polly said. They walk to home. Carrie still upset. They eat supper then went to bed. They walk to school. “It look like Carrie’s doll” Lena said as she point to girl with doll. “Where you find that?” Lena said. Rose looks at Lena and gives her doll. “I am sorry, My brother, Jim broke the window and steal the doll for me.” Rose said. Lena gave it to Mary so she can go back to house. “Carrie! What I found!” Mary said. “Debbie! Where you find?” Carrie squeals. She explains them that Rose’s Brother, Jim broke the window and steal doll for Rose. Carrie put her doll in little toy box. She left to school. At lunchtime. All kids sit together. They put all food on ground and kids can trade or taste it. “That is our ma’s best oatmeal cookies” Laura said in cheerfully voice. “Also my ma’s best rolls” Alice said. They ate it. School bell rang. They came inside. “Next Tuesday, Ingalls girls going to home after lunch but they will be here for morning classes.” Miss Bells said.
On Friday night, They went to Alice’s house and they have supper. Carrie plays with Alice’s little sister, Anna. She is five too. They like play dolls. They went to home and sleep. Saturday morning, Kids wake up and put their clothes on and eat breakfast. They hurries go to Alice’s house and they can go to swimming hole. Carrie and Anna are coming too but they must stay in shallow water. “Laura! Laura! Come here!” Mary said. Laura walk to near rocks. They found an old crab. “Why he is not moving? Is he dead?” Laura said. “Yeah, he is dead.” Mary said.
They swim and swim. They decide going to home. They eat lunch. Uncle Hi and Aunt Docia decide take kids to camp. Lena ask them if they had camp before. “Yeah, We went with Olesons then few weeks later, We went with pa!” Carrie said. They look at Carrie and smile to her. They are going to camp. They can stay for one day. Uncle Hi and Jean went to fishing. Laura and Lena put blankets and pillows in the tent. Carrie plays with pinecones. Mary helps Aunt Docia put fire up. She also watches Carrie. “Can we bring pinecones home?” Carrie said. “Of course, We can find anything here for ma and pa.” Mary said. Laura and Lena finish make beds. Uncle Hi and Jean come back and bring seven big fishes for supper. They eat supper. They decide walk little bit and find something for Pa and Ma. Then they going to sleep. They woke up very early, before sun up so they can go home and take bath. They put their Sunday dress and go to breakfast then church. They went to church. Rev Baldwin told people that on Tuesday, Ingalls girls going to home. We have good time with them or do we? Everyone said Yeah! “In school, we learn so much about Walnut Grove from them. They going write mails to us and Lena and Jean!” Henry said. They went to picnic. Kids play in water.
They went to home. Kids sit on floor and talk. “Let’s play tag” Jean said. Everyone went to outside and play tag. “Do you want go to town?” Laura said. They ask Uncle Hi for going to town. They walk to town and buy bagful of candies then go to home. They eat two pieces then put it in bag and save for trip. Monday morning, all kids in school give a present for Mary, Laura, and Carrie. They are glad that they gave presents to them! “We will miss you and write to us!” Cathy said. “Also make sure Carrie write mails to my little sister and brother when Carrie can read and write!” Harry and Alice said. They smile and look at books.
They went to home and do their chores. “I will miss them, Mary.” Laura sighs. “I know, I will miss them too!” Mary said. They packing their clothes and stuff. Carrie can pack by herself too.
Tuesday morning. They went to school. Everyone look sad. “Will you sit with us for lunch before you go home?” Alice said. They nod. Then lunchtime. Everyone sit on grass. Uncle Hi going to town with Carrie. “Time for go to home” Uncle Hi said. Laura look at him then saw all kids are sad. “Good bye Lena and Jean.” Mary and Laura said as they hugging them. “Good bye” Carrie said and hugging them. Some kids are tears.
“I am so sad.” Laura bawling. Carrie cling her doll and look at Laura crying. Mary gives Laura a hug. “Not worry, We will write them tomorrow!” Mary said. They went to train. They hug Uncle Hi then went in the train.
Three hours later. They saw Pa sitting on bench. They ran to him and hugging. They went to home. Everyone ran to home and saw ma. They sit down on chairs. They talk about their 2 weeks with Lena and Jean. “Mama! We found pretty pebbles and pinecones for you and pa” Carrie said.
“We went to school, church, and camp” Laura said. “We made many friends. And We will write mails to them.” Mary said. “Belinda died during we are visiting them. She is very sick with high fever” Laura said. They unpack their bags. Then they eat supper. They went to bed, they are very tired from trip.

Open Credit

Open Credit. It is open credit in season 1 until season 7. Three girls run down the hill. Little Sidney Greenbush fell down when she was running. I like when the three girls were running down the hill. Season 8 open credit is same but two girls run down the hill because they cut part of Melissa Sue Anderson because She is not appearing in season 8.
But she appeared in two episodes and she was co-starring in the end of episodes.

Most episodes show same open credit. Sometime they are uncredited because they are not appearing in the episode. Like one episode and Michael Landon is not in the episode so he is uncredited.

Season 9 is very different! There are pictures of the cast. Melissa Gilbert's pictures, one is from Pilot movie and other is season 9. Season 8 should get three different girls running down the hill like Lindsay Greenbush, Missy Francis (Cassandra Cooper), and Wendi or Brenda Turnbaugh (baby Grace Ingalls) run down the hill.

Two days ago (June 20), I saw a package from England. I open the present. It was a nice mirror case with Mickey ears. I can use it in my purse. It is match color (Orange) as my cell phone color! But my cell phone had little bit dark orange and little bit shiny than Mirror Case color. But it is perfect color.

I recently read it last night. That book is nice book. It is first book that Laura wrote in 1932. I read it first time in early 2000s, I not remember when.
I will tell you summary about it. But it is little hard to explain. I tell you which parts, I enjoy read.

Long time ago, sixty years ago in 1871. There is a little girl name is Laura. She live in big woods in Pepin, Wisconsin with her pa and ma and two sisters. She is four years old. She had so much chores! Mend, baking, tend, and other. Her favorite are Baking and Churning. She dislike Sundays because they had to be quiet and sit on chair. Play little bit but most time quiet.
I read first 10 chapters, No one talk about Baby Carrie. She said she have two sisters. No pictures of Baby Carrie in first 10 chapters. I love part is Christmas because it sound sweet.
She got very first rag-doll, Charlotte. She had a corncob, Susan. Mary is bigger than her and she had rag-doll, Nettie. She sometime let Laura hold Nettie. Susan cant see, That was not Susan's fault because she is corncob.
Foods- I think it is pretty okay, They eat pig tongue and liver. Even Bear's drumsticks. I think it sound kind of clever that their pa would blow up Pig's bladder like balloon and tied with string. They can play it as ball.
They eat curd. After Churning, carrot (or cheese). They eat GREEN curd. I thought it is little gross but interesting.
I like chapter about Dance at Grandma's. They goes to their grandparents house for dance. Laura Ingalls and other Laura Ingalls are fight about which baby is cutest. Laura "Half Pint" said Carrie is MOST cute but other Laura said No, she doesn't.
I forget tell you about "Half Pint", that is Laura's nickname. Pa call her Half Pint. Because she is SO small. Sometime he call her, Half Pint of drunk cider but i forget something. She is strong frenchhorse.
She had bad behavior sometime. Mary and Laura get ringlets that Ma put rag on their hair. Laura had mousy brown hair. Mary had beautiful golden hair. They ask Aunt Lottie. Mary said "Which blond hair or brown hair best?".. Aunt Lottie said she liked both. Laura and Mary had to pick tree chips. "She like mine best than your brown hair" Mary said. Laura became mad and slapped her in face. Pa saw all.
I will tell you more about other books, my fingers are tired from typing.

Also in the book, I read, "Laura and Mary found buttons in Ma's button box and they found many pretty buttons, including dog head button, shapes, and even a little castle on button".

This book is my first favorite book of nine books! I read it over and over. Anyway, I think I read it first time maybe 3 years ago. I thought it is cool but it is fantastic me. That book wrote by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It is circa 1935. I will tell you summary about that book.

In spring 1874, Laura and her family, Pa, Ma, and two sisters, Mary and Carrie. She is seven years old. Mary is nine years old and Carrie is three and half years old. They move to Walnut Grove from Kansas. Laura found dugout. They saw door and window.
Laura and Mary saw a path. They walk and saw Plum Creek and plum trees that along by the creek. They had to live in dugout for a while. Pa built a log house. They live about 1/2 mile away from Walnut Grove. Laura find a strange creature in tall grass. It is badger. She never see that before.
Laura and Mary goes to school. They met that snobby Nellie Owens (Oleson), Nellie's brother, Willie call them Snipers, snipers. Because their dress are so short, above their knees. They met nice friend, Christy Kennedy. Her brother, Sandy call them snipers too.
Christy have two other sisters. They are country girls (Ingalls). They met nice teacher, Miss Eva Beadle. She gave them a tablet and chalk to share. They only have ma's old books. Laura can't read or write. She learn fast and fast. She learn letters spelling like Bat, Hat, Rat, and Cat.
They have first party! Nellie invited them to go her party. Laura and Mary changed their best dresses and brush their hairs. They never had any party. They walk to Mercantile. Mr. "Oleson" lend them to living room. They saw Noah Boat with animals.
Nellie show her two dolls, one wax doll but she not care and threw it in the box. She show real china doll. Laura touch her real ruffle dress and it is rip. She mad at Laura. Mrs. "Oleson" seem sweetly to Laura. They eat cake and drank their lemonade in big glass. That is their very first time to drank lemonade!
Laura and Mary wanted their own party. Ma and Pa said Yes, You can do that! They invited Nellie, Christy, Maud, and other girls. The girls (friends) saw Jack (dog) and petted him. Nellie shout at him. "Go away!" Nellie said.
They walk in the house and they greeted pa and ma and little Carrie. They went to Attic (Loft), that were Mary and Laura sleep. Many girls want sleep in attic too. They went to Plum Creek.
Older girls and Mary took Carrie to play in shallow water. Laura ask Nellie come with her to see over there. Nellie come to her and look at something. Nellie scream and saw Bloodsuckers (Leeches) suck her legs.
Mary mad at Laura, tell her to PULL off that thing on Nellie's legs but Laura laugh so hard. "Do it now or I tell Ma" Mary said. Laura look at her and pulled bloodsuckers off as girls scream.
They eat bitter vanity cake, that have hollow inside like bubble. It is not taste sweet. They drink nice, cold glass of milk. They said good bye to friends as they walk to home.
On Christmas, They went to Church. Laura saw a big Christmas tree with presents. Rev. Alden told people. Ingalls girls are his country girls. Laura got her very first fur cape (like coat with scarf), Mary got her new coat but it is too small and not fit her so give to Laura. She get other one. Carrie got little china brown and white dog. Laura got jewelry box.
On Nov 1, 1875, they went to school and come home. They wonder where is Ma? They got new baby brother, Charles Frederick Ingalls. They call him, Freddie. On 1876, there is grasshopper plague! Grasshoppers are everywhere in Walnut Grove.
Plague start in Minnesota in 1873 to 1877.
Sad day, On August 27, 1876. Nine month old Freddie died. Because he had weight loss and sick all time, got fever many time. He is so thin, not chubby as babies. He died in his tiny body and buried in South Troy, Minnesota.
They left to De Smet, South Dakota. The End.I feel like Laura in that book.

Michael Landon (sorry I did not make it on Picasa). Anyway,
Michael Landon was born on October 31, 1936 in New York. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Orowitz. He had one sister, Evelyn (born in 1933). His real name was Eugene Maurice Orowitz. He found "Michael Landon" in the phonebook. He played Little Joe in Bonanza. He was in Gunsmoke and some TV shows. Of course he was on Little House as Charles Ingalls "Pa"
He appeared in little house 1974-1983. He was also a writer and filmed that show. It was the most wonderful TV show ever! He appear in Highway to Heaven (1982 or 1983 to 1986).
He married three time. He had nine kids. Four were biological and five were adopted kids. One of his children, Mark Frasier was found dead a few weeks ago. He was only 60.
He smoked a lot. Of course "Pa" used pipes. He used one or two packs of smoke a day. He got cancer. It was pancreatic. That was because he smoked so much. Sadly, on July 1, 1991, he died. Many little House cast members were very sad about his death.
Also many kids in little house (like Melissa Gilbert, Melissa Sue Anderson, Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush and other kids) said He ate frogs. Anyway, he got a frog in his mouth and waited for people talk and he started to say, "Hi" and frog came out. Some people got grossed out. Kids think it is funny.

2nd picture- Little house mini series (2005)- Notice, there no Carrie. Jack look different! Pa and Ma are different from Little house 1974. Mary and Laura look cute. If you look back of them and You thought it was Melissa Gilbert and Melissa Anderson. That Laura and Mary are almost same height. In 1974, Mary is about 4-6 inches taller than wee Laura. I recently watch that one yesterday night, it was really sweet. Laura and Mary have blonde but Laura have little wee brown but more likely dirt blonde. They have strange clothes than little house 1974. they have thick stockings and weird shoes. That why they filmed in Canada and little house 1974 filmed in California, hot and sunny California.

3rd picture- Little house- true story of Laura Ingalls Wilder (2000) weird. Not see Jack. Not know much about that show but really strange!

Little house Pa- 1974 pa is more cute and funny. 2000- I dont know. 2005- "Okay" but weird

They had to move to Kansas from Wisconsin. Each picture almost order in movie but I picture cute and funny pictures. Movie is 2 hours total.
Look at picture that Laura lick her finger and look at Carrie's cute expression when she look at Laura.
Last pictures (end of movie) are very sad because they have to move to Minnesota from Kansas, Look at Ingalls family, they look sad. Poor Laura, she look very sad because she going miss Mr. Edwards.
Pilot Movie is nice and sad. My favorite part is Christmas scenes.
They look a lot younger in that movie.
Pa and Ma are in their 30s, Mary is 11 yrs old, Laura is 9 yrs old, and little Carrie is 3 1/2 years old.

Museum in Washington DC

Hello! I come back from DC for two days in Tuesday and Wednesday. In museum, We walk inside and I saw a paper signed. I thought it is different person because I see Ingalls but I read whole one paper, it said Charles P Ingalls! My eyes are popped when I saw a paper. It said Homestead, Feb 19, 1880. signed by Charles P ingalls, Do you see his beautiful handwritting? Look at "I", it is sound fanciest! Today no one write same I as Charles Ingalls.

Charles P Ingalls is Laura's pa, from Little house. I couldn't believe they put paper in little box in museum in DC, It is coolest thing ever I saw! That paper is 129 years old! 1880-2009. Cool?

Two dogs in Ingalls family

Sorry I haven't update for almost 1 month. I will update everyday, I will try do that.
Two cute dogs are part of Ingalls Family, Top is Jack and bottom is Bandit.
Jack was first dog in 1974 to 1977 (he died). His real name is Barney so he is trainer dog and they use for Jack.
Bandit was second dog in 1977 after Jack died, to unknown year maybe 1982 end of season 8 and we never see him in season 9His real name is Jeffrey, he is trainer dog too and they use for Bandit.
Which one is your favorite? I like both. Bandit is Border Collie and Jack is mutt, I think he is old english sheepdog and other that mix. Jack is mutt. Real life Jack in books is Brindle Bulldog. He was good old Jack, no photo..sorry. he born maybe 1863 or 1964. He died in 1879 or 1880. He died after Mary became blind.

Show and Tell Friday - Plum Creek

My entry for Show and Tell Friday is a video of me wading in Plum Creek in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Plum Creek is one of the places where Laura Ingalls lived as a young girl. I visited in July 2008 with my parents. We had a great time. In the future, I will share more about the visit.

Little House on the prairie- Sept 11, 1974 to March 21, 1983. There 9 seasons includes movies- Pilot Movie and 3 movies (really in season 10). I always watch that show! I love Ingalls. Mary, Laura, Carrie, Cassandra, and Grace Ingalls are my favorite characters! here informations about their first and final appearance. I dont like their final appearance, it make me sad. Also people in Walnut Grove- real and non-fiction from books.

Adam, Albert, James, Cassandra, Jenny Wilder, Mrs. Edwards, John Jr, Carl, Alicia, Bandit, Hester Sue and blind kids and some school kids and Mrs. Whipple and the Garveys family are fiction, not from book.

Walnut Grove, Sleepy Eye, Mankato, St Paul, Roschester, Minneapolis, and Winoka are real.
some episodes in season 7-8 make me sad, like Mary and Adam have to move to NY, and last episode of Season 8, Carrie, Grace, Cassandra, James left (their final appearance).

FACT- some people have wig. like Mary Ingalls, she had a wig in season 7-8 because of her bad haircut (shorter hair), Nellie Oleson had wig in season 1-7 and 9, Even Miss Beadle because her hair is shorter, never long.

here my favorite episodes but there so many episodes like 200.
season 1- Town party and Country party, Christmas on the Plum Creek and Founder's day.
Season 2- Four eyes, The Big Inning, The Gift, Campout, and For My Lady.
Season 3- Bunny (it is so funny episode), The Little girl lost, and Fred (it is so hilarious episode)
season 4- Most precious gift, To Run and hide, and I'll waving as you drive away.
Season 5- The Wedding and Godsister.
Season 6- Sweet sixteen, He love me, he love me not, and Dark is my friend (some scenes are good)
season 7- Laura Ingalls Wilder, To see the light (some scenes are good, one scene is really crazy like Adam yells for Mary, and he yells at Mr. Garvey and he said, I CAN SEE! I CAN SEE!, he was like more hyper LOL), Lost ones (Cassandra is so cute)
Season 8- A Christmas they never forget
season 9- NONE, I dont really like it.
season 10- I like the movies
Pilot Movie- I like it, the girls are so cute! that their first appearance!

Charles Philip Ingalls born in NY on January 10th, 1836. He died on June 8th, 1902 of heart failure in South Dakota. Charles and Caroline married on Febuary 1st, 1860.

Caroline Lake Quiner Holbrook Ingalls born in Wisconsin on December 12th, 1939. She died on April 20th, 1924 of unknown, maybe in sleep in South Dakota. they have five children.

Mary Amelia Ingalls born in Pepin, Wisconsin on Jan 10th, 1865. She died on October 18, 1928 of Pneumonia and stoke in South Dakota while she visit her little sister Carrie. She never married.

Laura Elizabeth Ingalls Wilder born in Pepin, Wisconsin on Feb 7th, 1867. She died on Feb 10th, 1957 in her sleep. She married to Almanzo Wilder on August 25th, 1885. She have two children. She got diabetes before she died.

Caroline "Carrie" Celestia Ingalls Swanzey born in Kansas on August 3rd, 1870. She died on June 2nd, 1946 of Diabetes. She married to David Swanzey on August 1st, 1912. She have 2 step-children. FACT- her husband named Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota, Interesting?

Charles "Freddy or Freddie" Fredrick Ingalls Jr. He born on November 1st, 1875 in Minnesota. Sadly, he was only nine month old and he died on Aug 27th, 1876 in South Troy, Minnesota. because he got sick all time and so thin. he never chubby like other chubby babies.

Grace Pearl Ingalls Dow born in Burr Oaks, Iowa on May 23rd, 1877. She died on Nov 10th, 1941 of Diabetes. She married to Nathan Dow On October 16th, 1901 and never have children.

Almanzo James Wilder born on Feb 13rd, 1857 in Malone, NY. He died on Oct 23rd, 1949 of unknown, maybe in his sleep. He married to Laura Ingalls.

Rose Wilder born on Dec 5th 1886 in De Smet Dakota. She died on October 30th, 1968 of unknown, maybe in her sleep. She married to Garrette Claire in 1910s and have one kid but died unknown age. They divorced about 8-10 years later.

Baby boy Wilder (they couldn't think name for baby boy) born in Aug 1889. He died 12 days after birth of unknown.

Jack Ingalls- Ingalls' good, old Brindle Bulldog, Jack. he born in early or mid 1860s. He died in about 1879.
